Happy List! – April 7, 2011

Things that make me happy… RIGHT NOW!

Great customer service

Cashiers/sales staff/customer service reps can sometimes make or break your day. Today I was so shocked that a sales person rearranged my order to give me the best price. Obviously pleasantly so! Is it bad that I don’t expect good customer service anymore? Regardless of whether it is expected or unexpected, I do like to try and reward those who treat me well with something in return. Sometimes a smile is all it takes to turn someone’s day around… but a good comment card can work wonders.

The official launch of ♥Bracelets for Bridget♥ !

The first batch of bracelets have been listed on etsy.com! (They can all be found HERE.) Alexa and I are very proud to be Bridget’s Warrior and will do all that we can to raise funds for her adoption. (Alexa even made her own braided string bracelet with a special bead. That one I may just have to buy for myself. ♥) We will be adding new bracelets as they sell. (50% of the proceeds go directly to Bridget’s adoption fund; the other 50% goes towards listing fees and replenishment of supplies to make more beautiful creations!) If you haven’t visited the ♥Bracelets for Bridget♥ page, please do so and help us help Bridget find a forever family!

Love and Friendship that transcend the passing years

The very first bracelet sold in the ♥Bracelets for Bridget♥ campaign was to a very special person who holds a dear place in my heart. My best friend from high school was thoughtful enough to order one of these very special “grown-up” friendship bracelets. I find something cosmically beautiful in that. Thank you Andrea!!!

Just because. Who doesn’t love Giggy???!!! 🙂

Show gratitude for great service, and keep thinking of the things that make YOU smile! 🙂

  1. I don’t know who ‘Giggy’ is, but it sure looks cute!!

Bridget was my Great Grandmother’s name 🙂 Have you thought of making a facebook page for Bracelets for Bridget? I will be spreading the word about your cause as much as I can, but facebook pages always help!

I’m sick with a nasty cold, but today I am happy about getting the dogs out for some off-leash playtime, despite my illness. They had so much fun~
